Nathan Good, AIA, LEED AP Download Biography
Nathan’s passion for the environment and 25+ years of professional experience produced an award-winning portfolio of homes, wineries, galleries, bridges and recreational facilities. According to NW Home magazine, his work has distinguished him as one of the
Top 50 Architects in the Northwest for the past three years. Nathan utilizes a collaborative process that engages clients, consultants and other key stakeholders in the project’s design. At the forefront of sustainable practices, Nathan was the fifth person in the nation to become a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional. A registered architect and certified interior designer, Nathan holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and he studied architecture at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. He currently shares his knowledge as an educator, speaker and moderator at presentations and conferences throughout the nation.
Lydia Jesse Peters, AIA, architect
A licensed architect, Lydia’s design portfolio includes a variety of new and elegantly remodeled residential projects in the Pacific Northwest. Her architectural and project management experience also includes restaurants, and interior design. Through the University of Oregon, Lydia studied architecture in Rome, Italy and participated in the Portland Urban Studies program. She received her Bachelor of Architecture and minor in Environmental Studies in 1998. Lydia lives on a large farm and enjoys the balance of architecture, farm, and family.
Trent Jacobs, LEED AP, architect
Trent’s professional experience covers urban design and commercial buildings as well as custom green homes. Trent earned a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He also earned a Master of Architecture from Texas A&M University with a certificate in Sustainable Urbanism that included study in Barcelona, Spain and an internship at the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems. Trent lives in a small, historic home where he experiments with backyard agriculture and a homemade rainwater harvesting system.
Nate Cooprider, AIA, LEED AP
Nate Cooprider serves as our Portland representative, working out of our office located in Portland’s historic Old Town district. Nate is a registered architect in Oregon and Hawaii with a portfolio of mixed-use developments, urban planning, churches, and single-family residences. His project approach centers on developing unique design solutions that respond to the specific needs of the client and their building site. Having lived and worked overseas and in Hawaii, his exposure to different styles of architecture and various climate conditions enhances the firm’s work on geographically diverse projects. Nate received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon and has been in professional practice for 12 years. He enjoys spending time with his family, and surfing the Oregon coast.
Jenny McNally, LEED AP, architect
Interested in sustainable and urban design, Jenny has worked on a wide range of new and renovation projects throughout the Western US. Her management strengths have guided projects from early design through engineering and construction. Jenny has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon and completed studies at the Danish School of Design in Copenhagen and the Portland Urban Design Center. Jenny built her first car during high school, continues the joy of restoring classic automobiles with her family, and is an active organizer of various community events.
Amelia LaBadie, office administration and interior designer
Amelia has a proven track record of anticipating and meeting the needs of diverse clientele. Her exceptional organizational skills contribute to the smooth operations of Nathan Good Architects, and she brings a keen ability to apply knowledge and research in novel and creative ways to her interior design work. Amelia is a 2007 graduate of the Interior Design program at Marylhurst University. She gardens, dabbles in furniture and landscape designs for her own home, and enjoys traveling and camping throughout her native state of Oregon.
